Going private!

I've decided that it is time!  If you want an invite, leave a comment with your email address!
I'll switch it over on Feb 2nd.

Sickos!

I know that I am not alone in the thought that it is not fair for mom's to get sick...and this definitely includes pregnant moms that do daycare!!  We have been passing around a nasty viral cold here.  Jack had it for a few days...and them Charlie (who also has an ear infection) and now it is my turn!  After 2 days where I was pretty much useless, I am finally starting to feel better, although I have NO energy!  Aside from sickness, not too much is going on.
We do have an appointment for Jack to go and see and Ear/Nose/Throat doctor.  It is funny how a mom (well, maybe just me) can let a lot of little symptoms slide by and never put 2 and 2 together!  After talking to a friend and after not thinking of any concerns at his 3 year check-up, I discovered that it is very likely that Jack has sleep apnea.  He snores constantly, barfs whenever he has a cough, gags all the time and fills his mouth with a ton of food before he has to swallow...so, after Travis talked to the doc, we are thinking he is going to need his tonsils out!  What fun!  We go in on Feb 15th.  I would rather go through the awful recovery than not though.  Apparently sleep apnea is not good for the heart!  Scary!  Glad we are going to get him in...hopefully before the baby gets here!

Balance to the force!

The nursery is done and I have a pink and girly room in my house!!  Travis has been joking that there is balance in the force...although I think the room is a little more girly than he thought it would be!  There are a view minor additions that are needed, but everything is hung and in it's place!

And we are going to call her Sophie...at least while she is in her room! ;)

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas morning!  I used a black marker to label the presents this year and Jack was able to read the names and pass them out!

Each of the boys opened a new set of church clothes, a new pair of shoes and a new book!  Jack was VERY excited about opening presents this year and even helped daddy.
Travis and I replaced our broken rice cooker and blender for Christmas.  Fun gift for a guy, I know! ;)  We will be getting a bigger present in a few months when we pay cash for a new (used) van!  Very cool to not have a car payment!!

Santa was very cool this year and since he knows that our family loves geocaching ("finding treasure" as Jack calls it), he filled up an ammo can instead of stockings and hid it in the house.  Daddy and Jack checked out the GPS to try and find the treasure!
It turned out to be in Sophie's room.  Notice that Jack has no interest in the Build-A-Bear boxes.  It's all about the "treasure"!

Santa brought the boys Buzz and Woody bears!  The star presents this year were a $.99 pair of sunglasses and a $5 spin toothbrush!  Go figure!
